Πρώτο Ελληνικό Φόρουμ ονομάτων χώρου!

Θέλω προσωπικά νά χεραιτήσω τούς δημιουργούς τού gotidn.com γιά τήν προσπάθειά τους στόν χώρο τών διεθνών ονομάτων. Ηταν κάτι πού έλειπε από τόν χώρο μας καί νά πού τώρα είναι μία πραγματικότητα.

Επίσης θά ήθελα νά καλοσωρίσω όλους τούς Έλληνες πού ασχολύνται μέ τό θέμα, καί ελπίζω συλλογικά νά καταφέρουμε μέσω ανταλλαγής πληροφοριών καί ιδεών, νά "διαφωτίσουμε" τό ευρύ Ελληνικό κοινό - καί ιδιαίτερα τόν επαγγελματικό κόσμο - γιά τό τί σημαίνει ή δυνατότητα καταχώρησης ονομάτων στά Ελληνικά!

Είναι ένα σοβαρό θέμα πού χρήζει ανάλογης προσοχής καί ελπίζω μέ τή βοήθειά σας νά κατορθώσουμε νά προβάλλουμε τά Ελληνικά καί άλλα Δ.Ο.Χ. (Διεθνή Ονόματα Χώρου) στό ευρύτερο κοινό καί ειδικά στούς επαγγελματίες domainers

Πόσο μάλλον πού τό ιντερνετ δέν έχει τόσο ευρεία εξάπλωση στήν Ελλάδα, όσο θάπρεπε.


(I would like to personally thank the creators of gotidn.com and for their efforts in the Internationalized Domain Name arena. It was something that was missing from our business sector, and is now reality.

I would also like to welcome all Greeks who deal with the subject (IDN), and I hope that collectively with out mutual information and idea exchange, we will "enlighten" the greater Greek audience - and especially the business sector - as to what the ability to register and use domains in Greek will mean to them.

It's a very serious matter that needs proper attention and I hope with your help we will be able to showcase the Greek and other IDNs to the public and especially to the professional domainers

Especially since the internet doesn't enjoy the penetration in the Greek market that it deserves.)

I'll help you learn whatever you need to know regarding Greek

As for the Greek market, we can try and give it a helping hand ourselves. I always tell people what I do, and when they look at me with their eyes open, I try and explain what it is.
Some people do get it and especially the younger generation. There is hope.

Where are you in Athens? I'm here right now (Zographou) following a hernia operation and I'll be here for a few more days.

Yes, our hope is to help create and boost the greek domain market because it's badly needed.
