when u buy a russian idn - what's important?

что является наиболее важным при отборе русскоязычного домена для регистрации. статистика яндекса должна непременно быть выше .... ? слово должно быть популярным и имеющим смысл само по себе, если в домене два слова - то они должны быть очень популярными... что еще?

i am working on finding the best domains that are still available, but a little confused what's most important and what's less important.

pro advices needed, guys. that would help everyone - and also to understand better which domains is worthy and which is not.

so... i guess it must be a just a one word (two only if they are really popular) that is generic and makes sense as is. the yandex stats should be higher than 50k (or it's still low?) what other factors should i consider when choosing russian idn before registerring it?

On track but beware of the Grammar. Yandex may give you the result for all noun cases, but when you have entered a less useful form. You don't need to learn the language but you will need some basic grammar concepts. Get some advice from one of our Russian Speakers.

my friend, i am a russian native speaker and of course know the grammar. in fact i helped several members here with their russian idns on translations and keep/drop advice, plus even gave my little appraisal in terms of great/good/average/bad/drop. if someone else needs my help - just drop me a line, i'll help for free - but make sure your list is no more than 200 domains - i have a fulltime job too.

but thanks for the good point - you are right - one of the requirements is that the word must make a good sense as is, as i wrote previously. grammar is very important.

Google Trends is only comparative and Google's market share remains small so Yandex would seem to be more significant.

thanks, RD - the last question, i just couldn't find it... do you know any tool that allows to check the search volumes in yandex IN BULK? a software, a script, a site, anything... i was told that the one provided by idntools is not always accurate. it's very incovenient to check each word's search volumes one by one. thanks.
