I don't believe in .mobi either. That's a given. But I did register a few dozen during the landrush for shits and giggles. Mostly small counties and cities, a few one word no-accent/high ovt foreign words.mobi, and some two/three worders.

Not long ago, I get a bid for a 3 word ascii mobi and I replied with an offer for a ridiculous sum as domainers are conditioned to do. I thought that would be the end of it. But the guy took the time to write a 3 paragraph sob-story about how he was going to donate money to a certain charity related to the name... that charity happened to tug at my heartstrings, and we end up closing for about $900 or thereabouts. For a THREE WORD .MOBI.

This is insanity.
