I read books by Benoît Mandelbrot & Ilya Prigozhin. Not a big deal. Just trying to make a living. Ilya was a friend. But generations and worlds apart. I had a stint at York U, somewhere in U.K. I needed a translator, 'cause I could never understand what the hell they were saying. Benoît offered to be my translator (his language is French!).

I live in NYC, 500 feet away from what used to be WTC2. I had a lot of friends in that building.
All my friends at Cantor Fitzgerald are gone gone. We used to crack jokes about the Irish brokers who would go on vacation and come back as fried lobsters. They were all Irish kids who never had a chance on that fateful day. I hope they get a lot of sun where they are now.

I need to occupy myself with something totally foolish so I won't go totally nuts. IDN does the trick.
