I don't have a problem with people dabbling rather than committing, but if I am going to spend a lot of time listening to advice, I would expect to receive it from people that have a serious commitment. Olney was treated as a Guru. He never really committed and he would not have half of what he has if I had not bullied him a little. People like that just don't deserve to be revered or made guardians of the sources of information. As with Olney, those that have not committed can just drift away whenever they get bored.

However, I think its bullsh*t to say that those who don't go into the red, and who don't put their IDNs before family, health and general living, etc, are people who "lack any concept of the game".

I wish I could go absolutely nuts and go and reg 1000 names right now, but for me, there are too many other things that are more important in my life, than struggling financially and being "in the red" simply to make myself more accepted that "IDNs are the future".

Just my opinion though - and as I haven't sleep properly all week, I apologise in advance if this appears to be a personal attack on anyone. ( RD - if it wasn't for you all those years back at DNforums - I would never have known about IDNs - so in that - you do have my thanks )
