The Swan

I just wanted to give you an update on what we are doing since we came back on line.

I'm conscious that from a members perspective, it may look like we are just an alternative IDN forum, yet another bookmark or favourite to visit.

But while we glide graciously and elegantly across the surface like a Swan, I can tell you that in reality the swan's feet are paddling under the surface like crazy!

We have a number of IDN related projects on the go, that compliment our strategy of first and foremost spreading the word of IDN's "out there", and bringing the local's "here", and as we get closer to delivering these projects, we will happily spread the good news, but for the time being I can tell you what we have been up to on the marketing front.

As you know we first placed English ads in DNjournal, and we will continue this natively.

We are going to be live shortly with some Russian marketing/advertising material. We felt it important to focus on Russian for two reasons:

a) we have the language skills in house

b) with the announcement that IDN.ru is coming, we felt it important to give as much exposure to IDN.com and .net as we can, as we know how strong the .ru extension is in Russia.

We will of course be monitoring the traffic carefully, seeing what impact this has had and fine tuning as appropriate.
