I was reading this thread and wanted to make a suggestion. Logged in and tried to make a post but landed in the forum index/board page. I then spent few more minutes to located this thread again. This is a bug, need to fix.

The forums arrangement should be:
Forum Announcements
Main IDN Discussion
General Discussion
Members only ~ This forum is only visible to members
Auction News
General IDN Discussion - Native Language
Global News - Native Language

The forum should be focus on IDN. The "Auction News" and "Private" sections rank so high, where there is no sensible posts or news at all. Not very good arrangement.

New look is nice, but there's still nothing about IDNs in the logo.

You got rid of Simple Machines and replaced it with nothing.

Agree with Markits, sort of...

The order is off.

First thing we should all see is Auctions and Sales. You have them buried deep in the Main discussion forum.

Even in the "Auction News" there's all this old stuff about the Elite Auction and stuff that is irrelevant today.

As a buyer, I want to see what's for sale.

Right Now.

I don't give a crap about what anybody is saying about any regulations or welcomes to the new forum, or what I just regged today...

Sometimes I want that, but not Every Time I Come To the Forum.

When I come, I want to see what's for sale, and IDNF has it up front in its own little feed of sales and auctions.

Even with that layout, where auctions and sales are listed before other threads, I mised buying opportunities when I had the time to go deeper into the forums.

Fact is, this forum layout has no direction, and I say the right direction is sales.

I say this, strangely, against my own interests, as burying these threads can only serve to lower prices.

Sometimes I visited IDNF 20 times a day. I didn't always buy, but that was my intention each of those 20 times.

Let me be clearer:

In a recent INDF sale that I wanted, I started bidding in threads I didn't even want to win, in order to push the thread down on the landing page (off the top five).

They were legitimate, in that I'd have paid for them, but the bottom line for me was to get the main auction off the homepage.

On this site, such a stunt would be extremely easy, and free: just start ten new threads, and watch them pop up on the right.

Looks alot nicer. I still have useability issues but maybe just too used to VB and phpbb boards, instead of SMF..

As mentioned i think sales should be given a higher profile like over idnf.

or maybe dark blue?
It seems to me that the blue is to much light
