I can find good available domain names that others sell for big bucks - so what?

If you study the threads everyone here is primary interested in Single Word, Generics, Major Cities and Single Character domains and we have thousands of them. The only thing is that they are not in English and generally not in Latin Character sets. There is limited traffic because they are not generally going to resolve until IE7 have been downloaded in substantial quantities in Asia or until people have Vista. When that happens most Asian sites will convert to this kind of domain.

The bottom line is if you gave these to me a present, I would only stick them in my dumpster. They are not worth regging in my opinion and they would not be worth renewing. There is certainly no scope for a fee!

thanks for your explanations Rubber Duck - the acsii isn't going anywhere, and the most money are still here and for a long time to go. as indication i saw many much worse domains for sale for $$$ or even $$$$ at sedo and other domain selling sites. so i thought these ones would be good. as for generic one-words - of course, they all are already taken.

It all depends on your mindset. I am sure if you approached some of the twirps on NP registering hyphenated three word combos in dot mobi, they would be dead impressed!

The thing is, if you look at the domains for sale on this forum you will notice that none of them, not even one is in English, we just dont do English (ASCII)
Every language you can think of except English is what we do ..

Now if your script is able to mine domains in Farsi or Danish or whatever it is that the Inuit speak then you might get a bit of interest ..

i can do it in russian (my second language) and uzbek (my first language) - but it's an ascii zone of the fomrum - so my idea was to do it in english where the toughest competition is.
