Had a look a Microsoft.com but when I click on Menu for Windows or Downloads, I am getting all kinds of error messages. It looks as though there is some kind of major overhaul of the site going on!

No it hasn't happened but there was a big revamp last night.
Interesting to note that IE 7 RC1 is ranked #1 in Microsoft's most popular downloads.
