Q: Is there an expected release date for IE7 (not just the release candidate)? It would be nice to know so our sites are ready. And will there be any more release candidates? I think it is ready to roll and I don't think it will be 4th Quarter at all!
My money is on middle of next week. Let's say Tuesday.

Well if there is no RC2. It basically means they are going to Roll RC1, which is already packaged in all the important languages. What exactly is stopping them now? I guess the weekend!

I read on a blog somewhere last week that what we will see is an RTM (release to manufacturing) aka the finished version on the on the MS download site first, and then "shortly" afterwards it will be released as an auto-update.
so... we should this coming.

Well I have no idea who is on this Gongsi closed bidding list, but I would be surprised if Drewbert isn't there at the kill. He may well be short of shoe leather after that ones goes down. The shirt on his back may also have been pawned.
