What I took from the article is more logic that IE7 will be released "sooner" than later as there is going to be a break-in period for users and e-commerce merchants.

To release IE7 into the late November or December time frame when online shopping for Christmas goes up 10x- 1000x for merchants would be potentially a huge PR nightmare for Microsoft waiting to happen.

I think OCTOBER will be the month for IE7 release for many reasons. JMO
Anyone else have thoughts on this.

There will only ever be a good time to sell for those who have bought more than they can sustain medium in the face of traffic revenues below renewal costs. That time is now, before the traffic revenue kicks in. Unless you are very heavily invested and have domain coming out of your ears, this probably will never apply. Once medium term becomes shorterm expect the sales offerings to dry up rapidly. This might be a good time to sell for some, but it is certainly the only realistic time to buy for most.

Long term, domains will always be king, no doubt, but in the short term, a little cash can be useful, to pay for the holiday, maybe a trip to the Far East, Thailand Phuket island?

Precisely, it makes perfect sense for someone who could probably live very comfortably off the traffic of a small fraction of his domains to sell a few percentage points of his portfolio, to ensure financial stability and to collect some of the benefits in advance. A sixth month horizon would be very prudent at this juncture. Six months ago we were looking at a two week horizon at the most!
