One would have to assume that all the hard work for internationalising IE7 would have been done for the RC1 relase, so applying those updates to the final release should be a fairly simple matter, and the other versions should appear pretty darn quickly.

It looks as though the first batch is going to coincide with Auto Updates. It looks as though they are going to 55 languages in all including importantly all the Indian languages and Azeri, but those will take a little longer. Arabic and Japanese are in the first wave.

What a nightmare. And to think people can buy OSX, then just switch it to whatever language they want and Safari works. Sigh. 3 more weeks before we'll see any real action.

WSJ is out with it's IE7 review. No mention of IDNs. Just shows that maybe only a few hundred people are in the know and control 50% of the future IDN type-in traffic. I emailed the journalist, but have little hope.
