Interestingly the Final Beta of Firefox was supposed to be out today as well, and the Final Version will clash with Auto Updates of IE7.

Default Download ie7 final from Microsoft!

Our wait for the surge in IDN type-in traffic may continue a little longer as many pirated MS XP users in many countries won't be able to download IE7 for now. Santa may arrive late with our Chrstmas gifts and hopefully deliver them early next year. Many would probably not bother and stick with IE6 until they feel the need to get pirated version of Vista which is bundled with IE7.

I think you can rest assured that the Hookey versions will hit the street long before the Official Launch, if they have not already started to appear.
