Now, don't get me wrong, I am just as excited as anybody about the fact that the proper direction is unfolding, but yesterday's release just seemed really anti-climactic to me. I mean, Microsoft couldn't have done some major announcements, some press events, release events, anything?
I know the real celebration can start as the actual native-language versions for many international languages are rolled out, and the auto-update was always more important (in my opinion) than the "offical release" anyway, but still, I expected a little more fanfare. |

I feel like I have a bad hangover, and I didn't even have one glass of two-buck-chuck last night.
What was a little disappointing to me is the extended 'schedule' of release for IE7 in other languages. They mention Nov to Jan, so it's probably safe to assume the last AU will be 3 weeks after the last ship date -- I hate that antiquated term! Quote:

I've been using IE for past few days every now and then (to check alexa), it really sucks as compared to the new Firefox. The navigation is very strange and i often get site not found and need to restart it.
No wonder the reviews are not good.
