So, this means many people accessing our dopa parking page are using versign plugin - which is crazy since i can't understand why chinese users will go and download the versign plugin.

2. Versign plugin traffic plunged and rose sharply on the 10th to 13th.

For what reason? Why would the isp disable versign plugin? As i understand,t he plugin just converts unicode to punycode, so users can still access dopa.
ok, i just chat with candy from dopa, she doesn't know anything as well.

Don't start all that nonsense again.

Most people using IDN at the moment don't have a plug in. They are using ISP resolution. It is probably the case that there is some interference between resolution using Browser IE7 and the domains being resolved "On the Fly" by the ISP. As this is a political thing in China as much as a commercial thing, the system will not be allowed to fail. If the ISP "on the fly" resolution has to be removed to allow IE7 to function properly that is what will happen. It may be the that they have just needed to tinker with things a bit, to avoid conflicts.

As explained previously none of this adds up to China running its own root, although some have been determined to interpret it that way.

Does ISP resolution work for idn.com without the idn plugin? The last time i tested, it only worked for .gongsi if the browser has an idn plugin.
