Default What more could we possibly ask?

If you look at Yahoo.co.jp there is an IE7 link there right below the search box. That is nearly as good as AU!

The only problem for M$ is if Yahoo have a tool bar in every version of IE7, every other Search Engine in Japan is screwed including MSN!

Stand corrected.

The bottom line is if Yahoo is doing it and Baidu has just launched on Japan, and Yahoo is doing it more blatantly still in China. Baidu has to respond, so do Google and so does MSN. For Microsoft, the most obvious thing would be to Roll it out at Auto Updates. There is no reason that they could not offer their own Tool Bar as a default option. The point is that once Yahoo have gone there they could not only do this here but everywhere. Can Microsoft really just stand their scratching its butt?

All these different IE7 versions popping up...

What happens when you type a keyword into the nav bar - which ones append .com to it?

Can't answer that, but I think we can safely assume that MSN will not be the default Search Engine!
