Sounds familiar, MS is so stupid.

Like when they got all excited about ActiveX and IE5 and thought that the browser doing the coolest stuff on windows would dominate. Or when they got all happy about doing XML parlor tricks in IE6. Now some proprietary tie-ins coming in IE8 to (undocumented) Vista features...

Wait a minute, they did dominate the market since IE4 didn't they. I guess this standards-challenging, security-taunting, made-you-blink strategy could succeed again. Never mind.
