Don't know about the /Win behaviour. Someone needs to report back. BUT, in the mac version, when you type a word into the URL bar, it prepends http://www and appends .com to it. If it behaves the same in Windows, then domain owners would be doing the whole industry a favour by putting download buttons for it on all their websites, because we'll get all our type-in traffic back that was being hijacked by IE& (to live.com) and FF (to Google).

IDNs remain as unicode ... purty ...
 Also, just pasting the unicode into the URL bar without http or .com / .net it automatically adds http:// to the front and .com to the end This is on Windows XP I will be adding a download button to all my sites

Make it clear that it run on Windows.
Most people will assume it is Mac Only.

Yeah. Best download button I've found so far is http://www.gh-mathspeak.com/images/getSafari.gif Need to mod it to say something about available for windows and twice as fast as IE7. Plus also in other languages, of course!
