IDNC WG – The chair said that the working group currently is working on a methodology to make the fast track possible. It has proven to be quite challenging from a political point of view, as there are a number of governments that want to make sure the process ensure they get what they want immediately – i.e. there is a lack of concern for the greater good than for the individual territory. Still, the group is making some progress and an interim report has been published. This report will be discussed at the Dubai
meeting. There is still hope that the group will meet the time line so that the final report can be submitted by the Paris meeting.
