Default .cn disappeared from dd24-account

15 days after succesfully regging 色情视频.cn / xn--feuo36e36e2qq.cn the name has disappeared from my dd24-account.

I already contacted dd24-support but I fear the name is gone.

Has anyone experience anything like this ?

Could it be it's prohibited because it's an adult .cn?

Hope you got a refund Bram.

Thanks GS,

it shows as available, so I'll try to rereg it, see what happens .

..ok I just reregged it without a glitch, very odd.

I am curious about the cause, I'll post an update when I get the response from dd24.

I have gotten this reply from domaindiscount :

Dear Sir,

the domain has been deleted because of one of the following reasons:

("Reason of Refusal:Those spread pornography, obscenity, gambling,
violence, homicide, terror or instigate crimes").

Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you should have further
questions.

So it was deleted

Nope, not automatically anyway, I asked for it so I'll wait and see.

Wondering if the Chinese censors are monitoring registrations of .com and .net as well.

eek

things are going to get interesting. You can bet the Chinese Govt. are petitioning the .com registries to "act". How they respond is going to be interesting.

Unlikely, the chinese govt will not be bothered about .com registries. Blocking, however, is another issue.

If you are parking your chinese names on ND or Sedo with adult, gambling theme, you're inviting for trouble. This would also apply to Arabics, Thai and Vietnamese, and yes, ISPs do filter URLs.
