So I ran across the following site today in my journeys
http://www.gvina.com/ - "gvina" is phonetic for "cheese" in Hebrew Anyway, this guy has a list of domain links on his website of ASCII-ized Hebrew domains for sale. Many of which are available in IDN form (not much left worth reggin' though). These basterdized domains were registered in 2004. Amazing how many still don't have a clue - even those in the thick of international domains. Another thing from my journeys - there seem to be quite a few new players in the Hebrew (as well as other languages) IDN market. WHOIS shows many recent registrations from people I haven't previously seen. The word is spreading ![]() |

One of my parked Hebrew domains got indexed by Google and shows serp4. Let's see how long it holds

Shalom.com is probably a fine domain because it's a fairly recognizable word. But for the average Hebrew speaker, anglicized domains are not very memorable. |
