Default Domain Industry Event Spotlights Google, ICANN, SEDO, MIVA

Los Angeles, California - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - February 5, 2007 - DomainSponsor, the domain monetization business of Oversee.net and organizing party of DOMAINfest Global, a seminar and networking event for the domain industry, at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, California, included over 300 registrants.

Mike ''Zappy'' Zapolin, Co-Founder of the Internet Real Estate Group, LLC, delivered the opening keynote. Michael Arrington, Editor and Founder of the web 2.0 blog, TechCrunch, served as keynote speaker, having recently ranked No. 10 on Forbes.com's ''Web Celeb 25'' list.

The agenda featured renowned speakers, with sessions including: Financial Planning: Smart Tips and Solid Advice on Structuring and Running Your Business, an intimate discussion from experts in banking, tax planning and wealth management as they share their expertise on how to maximize wealth. Where is the Domain Space Headed? Can We Predict the Future? addressed the most important events and trends. Part one discussed IDN, ccTLDs and new TLDs and featured Tina Dam (ICANN); Hiro Hotta (JPRS); Pinky Brand (dotMobi); Leona Chen (DotAsia); and Matt Serlin (MarkMonitor). Part two explores the exploding domain aftermarket with commentary from moderator Ron Jackson (DN Journal) as well as panelists Tim Schumacher (Sedo); Dan Warner (Fabulous); and Mason Cole (SnapNames).

Ask the Experts, involved the participation of a group of experts on issues and opportunities in the domain space. Moderated by John Berryhill, PhD, Esq., legal experts include Aaron Kornblum (Microsoft); Samantha Frida (CPA Global); and Bret Fausett (Cathcart, Collins LLC); Aftermarket Experts include Tim Schumacher (Sedo) and Dan Warner (Fabulous). Future of the Marketplace will be handled by Eytan Elbaz (Google) and Ryan Berryman (Oversee.net). The technology expert was Russ Goodwin (Tidewinds Group). David Liu (Jefferies and Co.) provided a Venture Capital and Technology Overview. Ad Networks Experts included S. Brian Mukherjee (MIVA) and Alex Gardner (Casale Media).

Building a Business from a Domain: the Joy, the Pain and the Necessary Tools highlighted the options from many perspectives, including those who have persevered through this process and know about the many challenges involved.
