Expect more internet usage since this past year adsl service became cheaper than dial-up and available almost everywhere
![]() Greeks can be slow to adapt to new things sometimes, but when they do, they tend to overkill. Five years ago, most of my acquaintances didn't know what a browser was. Last year I had people come up to me to "inform" me about the .eu launch. Times do change, and so do people. Eventually, they'll learn to use the f*-ing address bar for direct navigation... |

From experience, the Greeks are still way behind in terms of internet use. I'll give you an example of what happened today. A client calls us up and says there email is not working. We spend half an hour going through all the setting, making sure everything is correct. We remove and install the email several times, in case of any small errors in the cofiguration of it. Eventually, I ask " Are you actually connected to the internet ? " The reply ... " What ?? - You mean I have to be connected to the internet to get my emails ? " And this isn't actually the first time I have had this exact same thing happen. But over the last 2-3 years, things do seem to be slowly getting better - however, the Greeks still have a lot to learn. Alex
