an interesting experiment on keywords in url's
Full read: http://www.seo-blog.com/keywords-in-urls.php It is well known that Google highlights the words that have been searched for in the search engine result pages (SERPs) wherever they occur. So, bottom line, hyphenating your urls is the way to go, right?

Unfortunately, none of the SEs are parsing unicode folder names properly. They show up as HTML entities which look like gibberish to the surfer.
For now it's best to use short ASCII folder names for IDN. It'll just be a royal PITA to change them all into unicode and do the redirects later on. |
