The Data Center of China's Internet (DCCI) published research data on China's internet market in the first half of 2007 on July 7th. The report includes the main data and trend of China's overall internet market, online advertising market, search engine market, and measurement of the volume of online video media consumers. The data shows that China's internet market in the first half of the year has been developing rapidly, and the market's potential is huge.
The data shows that in the first half of the year, the value of China's per capita internet consumption reached 186 Yuan. It is expected that the monthly per capita spent on the internet will reach 195.76 Yuan by the end of the year. The total amount spent by internet users on the internet will reach 364.114 billion Yuan in 2007, 32 percent more than in 2006.
In the first half of this year, the income of China's internet advertising market (excluding search engines) reached 3.27 billion Yuan. This year's income is equivalent to the level of income in the entire year of 2005. It is expected that the overall income of China's internet advertising market (excluding search engines) will reach 7.623 billion Yuan in 2007.
