I won't underestimate how fast they can sell. They might dump entire blocks to a few American or Middle East Reit funds.

A lot of the late enblocs are being funded by foreign reits.

There's a massive amount of liquidity and cash sloshing around in Singapore banks right now. Everyone is maintaining liquidity and waiting for the fallout. The locals are all holding back. I think the smaller developers might face some problems if they can't dispose their units quick enough.

If you read the news, when questioned where they get so much spare cash on short term notice, the 2 Singapore SWFs - Temasek and GIC admitted they sold off a lot of China and emerging market shares even as early as August. These people know the market and are playing it well. They are not the autocratic fools which i earlier thought them to be.
