Bad timming to be a domainer? Opinions?

I never bought into the idea that Widgets.com was a highly valuable domain. Indeed the only domains he has that I esteem highly, he has paid good money for (and I am not talking dot Mobi here). But then what the fuck do I know?

Some of these domains have achieved legendary status simply because Rick has carefully worked on the marketing side of things.

Rick has also been toying with free accommodation at Traffics.

My guess is that the guru never saw the slump coming despite my warnings and is now extremely worried about being able to fund his TRAFFIC Conventions, which on the face of it should have made him rich, but I think he is also high tied up in Florida Real Estate market which may have cast a long shadow.
