I am sorry, but I have a close relative who is in the hospital AND my computer freaked out, thus the lack of response.

Yes, old forum structure and database is 100% intact and I can put it to work in 5 seconds. (It's just a mater of disable the redirect on the root)

The tranfer of the old forum database was made tweaking a tool called IMPEX (I had to change it due to different versions of the forums, current version works for SMF 1.1.2 only and worst of all, due to the utf-8 nature of data that had to pass throught it...and some other things).

There are no tools (that I know of) to migrate itrader ratings (SMF and VB use very different tools) so I will have to write one on my own.

We are also still debating wether to transfer ratings from IDNF or DNL.

Please bear in mind Dave words. This was a migration and we are still in adapt mode. With time, good will and a little patience from your side we'll get there.

Private area and bans are ok now and forum resources are easy to put back on.

Take care of your relative, don't worry we won't flee from there if everything is not perfectly slick (it is nearly...). And thanks again Jose. I don't care so much about vBulletin like the others (still I appreciate it a lot) but the best "feature" for me too is that the New posts work perfectly
