Dear José Augusto,
We have realized you are the owner of the domain oóo.net. We kindly request you to transfer us the above domain. We will pay you all the costs it has generated since it was granted to you. The Spanish press normally confuses oóo.net for ooo.net due that the word in Spanish is accented and it's also the name of the company, so people get confused when access to oóo.net site. oóo.net is a registered trademark, so if you do not agree to transfer us the oóo.net domain we will have no other choice that to complaint to the competent authorities by contravening the existing European legislation on trademarks and domains in Internet. We hope we can solve and settle this issue cordially. Regards, ooo Comunicacions SL Send from a gmail account with cc to adm@ooo.net What is the actual value of the legal expenses domainers usually ask in order to avoid going to wipo? I have posted it here once, but can't find the post. It was a post named law and domains or something similar... |

Found it:
Coincidentally, the going rate for a domain name that includes a trademark is about the exact amount it would cost to initiate UDRP arbitration ($1,5000 to $2,000). Funny how that works, isn’t it? ![]() SEOmoz | Trademark Law and Domain Names: ACPA or UDRP? |

I dunno why but I call BS. ooo.net is a parked page.

Note: "cost to initiate UDRP arbitration ($1,5000 to $2,000)", means there is no cost to you. The other party should be paying the fee to initiate the arbitration.
Also, Fka seems to be right.
