If you have friends in the ads industry in China, that should be an ideal company to buy. The problem to me is, as Dave said, I'm enjoying reading War and Peace :-). I don't know when I will finish.

There was no debate, only a simple question. And you still don't understand the question that was asked. Ask Dave to clarify it for you.

How I wish I could delete this entire thread. If we were still on Simple Machines it would have been trashed already, but as it is I would have to wake Jose up to figure out how it is done. Familiar it may be but from where I stand VB simply stands for Very Bad! Sorry, I am bit pissed tonight. Been on the wagon for months, but tonight I am holding a wake for the dollar. God bless all her sail, in her. Rest their souls.

Not that I didn't understand the question, I was just not happy you hijacked the thread and turned it into a lecture on web hosting.

In the last 20 years, I don't remember I ever debate or argue with somebody about web or computer stuff. Who cares how you call things, just make things work, that's SCIENCE.

We are here to invest in domain names, the skills we really need to make us succeed is probably marketting, advertising, business strategy..., skills to build a site is not essential. Just like real estate investors don't need to know how to intall an elevator to a building or skills to construct a building, they just need to figure out where the best location is and buy the land first before somebody else. You don't quite realize this but make your irrelevant skills look like a very big deal.

The person that missed the point is you, not me.

You are absolutely right!

For Instance, if you were to become a McDoland's franchises, the corporation would ask you to recieve training concerning the day-to-day operation of the business, but not how to bake buns, slice down the potatoes or slaughter cows. If you do know how, it might be a plus, provided you have the time and energy to do so but it's not essential to guarantee the overall of the business.

A smart and successful investor needs only to make the right decisions at the right time and there's no need to do everything by himself. This way, he can better utilize his time and effort in more important things and not losing time over trivial things.

The problem with site development is that 99% of the output is of less interest to the browser than the average parking page, which also generally earns more for the owner if it is a keyword over which there is a lot of market competition. Sure crap domains are better developed. Most of them don't have significant type-in.
