Hi phio,

thể-thao.net sport
giải-trí.com entertainment
âm-nhạc.net music
sức-khỏe.net health
môi-trường.net environment
tin-tức.net news
sựkiện.com fact
sự-kiện.com fact
đăng-ký.com register
giải-thưởng.com award

The dash "-" between the words are not nessessary at all.
Those domains would be more valuable without the dashes.

Bluerock, Thanks for the translations. Yes it is an experiment. The ones without dashes, are already registered. Google image search results for "giải-trí" is about 1.4 million and for "giảitrí" under 1000. Are you a native speaker? I'm wondering which search engine is popular in vietnam.

phio when you search use google.com.vn and be sure to use quotes AND put a space between words:

"giải trí" - 9.2million
"giảitrí" - 23,000

Thanks, I actually get the same results with the dash. I realize that google in this case treats a dash as a space. But the real question for me is would a native vietnamese speaker think of the dash as a mispelling or oddity, or would the word be easily recognized. Also wondering if anyone is promoting IDNs in Vietnam.

Another search engine:
http://vn.yahoo.com
You can look at a Vietnamese website such as this one to see how the writing looks like:
http://vnexpress.net

They don't normally use "-" between words. If the "-" like the way you have in those domains, they do not look misspelled and might make them more readable.

If you have giả-itri'.com then it is useless
