$50 (30) - [xn--b1aew.com] - мвд.com - ministry of internal affairs (ru)
$100 (20) - [xn--z4c.com] - ๅ.com - single char (thai) $50 (10) - [xn--pgina-xqa.net] - página.net - page (es) $100 (20) - [xn--dckud0a9n] - バディー.com - body (jap) Are these at $0 or $1 now (I am confused as Alpha and MDM)? Either way, if these are $0 or $1, I'll take them... SOLD. |

Correctomundo .The price is updated in the original post, the increment below is incorrect ; $50 (30=10) - [xn--b1aew.com] - мвд.com - ministry of internal affairs (ru) It would be less confusing if I mention the amount of drops left I guess. p.s. no harm in experimenting right ![]() p.p.s. prices dropped |

I think you are right to experiment and I have been following because I am interested in you methods.
I personally think Dutch Auctions per se are a waste of time, because half the people here don't seem to understand the principle. I believe it is more sensible just to start with a price or a list of prices and amend them as the sale progresses without formally calling it an auction. The presumption appears to be to hang on to the last increment, when you can pick up the domains for next to nothing. You might be better just testing the price down without indicating at which point the sale will just be abandoned. That would appear to give bidders more motivation for coming in, and safeguard you from chucking domains down the toilet.

The lure of this auction would be that people could get it for nothing in theory and the main idea is of course
that bidders post before someone else does. I understand that the $0-level pricing promotes the idea that something for nothing is always better than something for something but $30 for something that would otherwise be sold for $60 in a normal auction is an opportunity more likely to slip out of your fingers the longer you wait. I reckon this would work well in a crowded marketplace . |
