Most of your Baidu Search Index terms will be TM's! Strip those out and you are probably talking terms that would fetch at least ten times what you are offering.

You can consider 债务.com/net (debt.com/net), or 房价.com (had juicy USA ovt score).

If you think of a domain as a brand, then yes. However, if you look at a domain as a traffic source, then I think you'd be surprised about single character domains.

When I owned 看.com, that thing was pulling in *serious* traffic and clicks every single day, like a machine. It was the most type in traffic I have ever seen on a Chinese IDN, by far. I suspect 上.com and every super common Chinese one character would be similar.

Agreed, length of domain is an important factor in type-in. Even for asciis, for some reasons, the shorter the name, the higher the type-in.

As for 看.com, it might be getting spill over traffic from 看.tv.

Single char Chinese domain usually gets good type-in traffic, a high proportion from Chinese domain speculators.

Many ordinary single chars are actually TMs for particular products/brands in China. The number of popular single char is limited, and is highly sought after for brand purpose. For examples, 绅, 渊, they are both TMs. These two char are definitly not popular chars. It is also hard to link these two chars to any products or businesses from their appearance.

Just randomly tried some popular chars:
国 63 TMs
家 64 TMs
工 180 TMs
上 62 TMs
