I realize that many of us at this point know each other (or know of each other) from various other forums and outlets, but it doesn't hurt to get reacquainted, especially as more members discover these forums and the wide, wonderful world of IDNs. So, I'll go first:
Hi, my name is Jesse, and I'm from the US. I go by the nickname of "domainstosell". I've been involved with IDNs since around April of 2006 (and I wish I had discovered them sooner, like probably everyone else - with perhaps a few exceptions). I have domains in many languages, but a majority in Hebrew, Russian, Japanese and Bengali. I own and operate an IDN news/resources/showcase site: www.IDNcyclopedia.com. This forum is a great step in the right direction to raising international awareness of native-language domains, and I am looking forward to great strides in the IDN industry in the next year and beyond. |

Hi, my name is Simon, and i live in the UK. I have been in the IDN game since a good friend introduced me to them back in Feb 06 (like most ppl I wish i'd found out about it a lot earlier) At first I thought it was too good to be true, as these sort of things often turn out to be.... But I'm very glad I listened to my friend, and stayed the course.
At first this was only supposed to be a small investment, but like a lot of things it got out of control, and started to dominate my life ( much to the disgust of my girlfriend ). We have almost stopped regging now and just waiting to start the re-regging process ![]() ![]() ?? There goes next years holiday lolJust like to finish by saying "well done lads" the site looks very professional, and user friendly. |

My name is Alex, live and work in Greece. Previous to that, had been working and living in London.
Didnt get started in IDNs until the late 2005, but better late than never. Main bulk of my IDN portfolio are Greek IDNs, though I do have a number of Japanese and Chinese as well. Thats about all I can think to type for now. Never been much of a speaker when it comes to talking about myself. Good luck with the forum Alex

Hello everyone,
Congratulations on the new Forum. I am relatively new to IDN. Started around May 2006 and have spent quite a bit of money registering Thai domain names since I am a Thai and I am comfortable with the language. I have a small portfolio of Chinese and Japanese names as well. Best of luck with your new project in bringing IDN to the world. Cheers! TD |

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. Familiar names are popping up, which is nice but hopefully in the near future we will have introductions occurring in numerous languages.
I am in the US and have been into IDNs since Feb 2006. Congrats on the new forum. Tee1 |

Hello all...finally got a minute to get over and say hi. This is really an exciting project and I wish to congratulate all for bringing the ideas together.
The opening Vision Statement was a really touching piece of writing and thoughts. It did a great job of bringing forth the essence of IDNs and the positive benefits that they will bring. As a side note...the vision statement was not showing when I logged in, nor was I able to locate. Maybe worth putting on a sticky as well as a reminder of the spirit in which this forum was created. I look forward to meeting many new people here as time goes on, and sharing the common experience of seeing the IDN dream truly change the global internet world. |

Hi all the name is Michael,
Very impressed with the site so far and the vision mentioned by those involved with respect to the future of IDNs. I am located in Santa Monica [Los Angeles] area in the USA and got started with IDNs around March, 2006. Excited to see what takes place over the next few years! |
