ÖVERSÄTT! / TRANSLATE!
http://lexin.nada.kth.se/swe-eng.shtml (ord för ord) / (single words only)

.SE REGISTRERING / .SE REGISTRATIONS
Nic.se allows, in addition to a-z, hyphen and the numbers 0-9, also the IDN signs å, ä, ö ü and é. Maybe more signs will follow later, but that's it so far.

Here's a link to a registrar who charges only SEK 137 per .se domain (ca $19):
http://www.loopia.se/?referer=40409
(ordering via this link will give me a bonus at Loopia - if you don't want that you can go straight to Loopia.se, although the price will be the same for you.)

Link to list of blocked and reserved .se domains:

GOOD LUCK!

Alphamale

I think it depends on who you register with - but if done through Loopia your name should show up at Nic.Se. Also at Nic.Se you can yourself arrange so that your email address will be displayed, this is optional with them.

I didn't find your domain there yet but got an error (which shows something is happening since it didn't show as free) , but I guess by tomorrow they'll have the records in place.

How long did it take for the URL forwarding to start working? I tried changing DNS but then when with URL forwarding. Still doesn't resolve.

I have a real weird problem with that .se name.

It's still not resolving for me, not unless i switch off my spy software.
I am using a tool called SpySweeper, and one of it's shields is a "common ad shied". But to put this into perspective, I have had this tool for over 3 years, and all my other domains resolve.

So it's either something about the .se it doesnt like or the fact that I am URL forwarding, as all my .com's etc I am changing nameservers instead.

I emailed Ed about it earlier, I'll let you know what they say. Hopefully ND haven't been blacklisted by this software under some odd set of circumstances.

Be interested to hear from anyone who has successfully managed to park an .se name.

They (Loopia) cocked up originally somehow, and Absalon kindly emailed them to "fix it". Give it another 24hrs, and if its still not working, then you may have to do the same.
